GOP Convention season is here again and that means it's time for our County Convention. The Convention process is a great way to get involved and participate in the political process at a Grassroots level.
Here are the details:
Effingham GOP County Convention

601 N. Laurel St. in downtown Springfield
**You must bring a government-issued photo ID to check-in/Register at Convention.
Precinct Mass Meeting will begin at 9AM to elect delegates to the County Convention which convenes at 10AM. If you are new to the convention process, this may seem redundant, but these steps are required by State Party Bi-Laws. During the County Convention, we will be electing Delegates & Alternates to the District and State Conventions. The District and State Conventions will then elect Delegates & Alternates to the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. See what a Republican National Convention is like here.
Pre-Register for County Convention below. Pre-registering makes your sign-in
process faster at Convention and helps give us a headcount for breakfast.
The deadline to Pre-Register is March 20th at 6PM.
***If you pre-register, you still have to check in at the door by 9AM with your government-issued photo ID.
Per GAGOP bi-laws, if you arrive late, you can only attend as a guest with no voting rights.
